Pre Order Your Peace Wreath for the Holidays!

Thursday, September 3rd, 2009

I know it’s only September, way too early to think about the holidays for most…

But I don’t want anyone to miss out on the opportunity to own this super cool thing.

 gumtree_lores_97

When I opened in November I hung this amazing Peace Wreath outside the front windows of the shop.  I know that some of my first customers found me because they saw this and stopped their cars to come up the steps!  So many people asked me whether they could order it, but by the time I called the supplier it was out of stock.

So, this year I am taking preorders for it to make sure you get one if you want it!

It’s incredible… silver, and dusted with glitter.  And it’s big!

Dimensions are 36 inches round, about 4 inches deep.

Price $518

It’s also available in a smaller version that is equally beautiful, just more petite.

Dimensions are 20 inches round, about 4 inches deep.

Price $134

I absolutely love this cooler version of a wreath, and what a perfect sentiment during the holidays, I cannot wait to bring it back out.  I was tempted to leave it out year round!

To preorder the large or small version, make sure to call me A.S.A.P. at 310-376-8744.  Or you can respond to this email.

I know that by the end of September they are sold out!  If you’d like to see it in person, please stop by, I’ll pull mine out for a viewing.  I won’t be stocking the large size in the shop so this is your only opportunity to get one!

Another favorite for the holidays were these amazing Shell Christmas Trees by San Diego based artist Nate Ricketts.

 LA-2-97

I have already ordered a bunch of them in lots of different sizes.  They start around $26 (the perfect gift price) and go up from there, depending on size of tree and type of shells used.  He added an incredible white coral covered version this year that is so beautiful, and a coral covered pair of candlesticks that are to die for.  Look for them to hit the shop early October.

Until then, I have new things arriving every day.  Come in for a visit and get started on that Christmas List!

See you soon,

NYC Inspiration

Tuesday, September 1st, 2009

Hi there,
I’m back from my latest trip to NYC, and a really successful one it was.

As always the city provides endless inspiration. My latest obsession was the incredible Highline. An old elevated train track running up the west side of Manhattan has been transformed into the coolest park/public space that I have ever seen.

That building straddling it is the new Standard hotel.

The beginning of the path, starting at Gansevort Street in the Meatpacking district walking north.  They did an incredible job of reminding you what the place used to be…see the old rails on the left.

Love this.

How amazing would it be to spend an afternoon on one of these lounge chairs…

It never ceases to amaze me how creative people can be.

I love this space and will make a point to take a walk there on every visit back to the city.  Can’t wait to see it in the winter.

Stay tuned for lots of new products in the shop found on my trip.  So excited to show you all the cool stuff!
