Hey Everyone,
The Holiday Season is upon us, what better time for another edition of my Hermosa Guide?
I thought I’d introduce you to some great new shops in town, and reintroduce you to our old favorites, just in time for the Holiday Sidewalk Festival!
Come down this Saturday and get a jump start on your holiday shopping at any one of our amazing local boutiques. Bonus…Santa will be at Gum Tree from 10-4! Live Music and Kids Activities too.
Meet the Newcomers…
Beach and Beverly…
This one is so new that it’s not even open yet, but I am so excited for it.
Soft opening this Saturday…Women’s Clothing, Finally!
The Cooley Brothers of Wicked+ fame, are getting into the women’s biz. Look for lines like LNA, AG jeans, For Love and Lemons, and Sol Angeles, to name a few. I’ll take one of everything from the LNA boxes I peeked through today please.
Lavish Gift and Home…
Opened last week by two lovely South Bay Ladies, it’s a great addition to Upper Pier Ave. In the former home of Mani Pedi Cutie (Ally we miss you), they’ve really transformed the space.
Look for beach themed gifts and home decor. Pop in after your morning juice fix at the nearbySource Cafe.
Shryne Design…
Looks like Downtown Hermosa is becoming the go to spot for Home Decor and Design! Shana opened up in the former Bath Bar space a couple of months ago, and the place looks amazing.
She had me at that Zebra wallpaper.
The Familiar Favorites…
Curious…
Bryce and his amazing team always shine, but especially during this season. I was laughing so hard at the Holiday cards today that I was crying…
If you need a White Elephant gift, you have come to the right place! Look for their free photo booth this weekend. Sexy Santa photos will follow in December, do not miss it, trust me.
Maison Luxe…
The queen of beach chic decor, no one does it better than Carrie. I got to visit my dream chandelier in there today.
Pick up a little piece of the magic that is Maison Luxe, those sparkly votives make a great hostess gift…
Details…
Booties? Check! Party Shoes? Check!
Lots of great shoes, and cute accessories too.
Sol Baby…
Super fun stuff for the Rock and Roll kids you know! My kids favorite, Natives shoes, are in stock…and the Hermosa Beach Tees are too cute, I got one for little Will today.
Wicked +
If you need a great guy gift, look no further…
Well curated selection of just plain cool stuff, and great books too.
Stars Antiques…
We are so lucky to have this amazing business downtown, from the iconic old barn, to the goodies inside, it’s classic Hermosa. Who needs the Rose Bowl Flea market, I got to browse through tons of vintage treasures today, and it’s just up the block!
A trip to Hermosa is not complete without a stop into our iconic Surf shops…
Becker Surf…
Skateboards, surfboards, wetsuits, gear, they’ve got it. But today for me, it was all about their socks, loved them all!
Spyder Surf…
I cannot image you could ever find a better flip flop selection than right here on Pier Plaza, looks like the spot to get your Uggs this year too!
Uncorked…
A good Pinot Noir is a must have for your upcoming Thanksgiving Dinner, and their knowledgeable and friendly staff can help you pick the perfect one.
Of course we’ll be open too, at Kids, the Cafe and our Shop.
Gum Tree Kids…
We’ve got great gifts for all the kids on your list! A real live elf will be making balloon animals from 10-4 in the shop this Saturday!
Elf on the Shelf is back too:) We have girls and boys, come grab them now so they can magically arrive at your house on Thanksgiving Morning!
Gum Tree…
We’re all set for Thanksgiving at Gum Tree…Pick up a cookbook for some inspiration, some servers for your holiday table, or a great hostess gift.
Now’s a good time to add a pretty piece of jewelry or a Clare Vivier clutch to your Wishlist too!
Don’t Forget—-Santa is here this Saturday from 10-4, it’s our 6th Annual photo event with Lauren Pressey photography, with all $$ going to the HBEF! Our photo last year was priceless…
We hope to see you Downtown Hermosa soon. Come spend the day in our funky little beach town, there’s lots more to see!
