Hello Everyone,
In light of Governor Newsom’s announcement tonight we have made the difficult decision to close our doors (shop & cafe) until we know it’s safe to reopen. This decision was not made lightly, we have had to let go all of our employees now, 35 people who are like family to us. We hope and pray that we can bring each of them back when this is all over. But, their health and safety, and that of our entire community comes first.
We have been blown away by all of your support, thank you so very much for all the love you have shown us. We are so grateful to be a small part of this amazing community.
I am going to hit pause on everything for a couple of days and try to decide how to move forward. I’ll keep you updated on what we will do. You are welcome to place orders for product on our site at www.gumtreela.com and I will get to them early next week. Gift card orders are relatively easy for me to process and send, or hold for you here until we reopen, so if you feel inclined to send a little help that would be amazing.
I will continue to post on Instagram and Facebook daily with something fun for you to look at, because god knows I will need something to do to give myself a break from homeschooling my two little red headed angels. 😂😂😂.
Want a bit of truth? We have been too busy trying to save our small business this week to even read one single frigging email from the kid’s schools. So we have quite a bit of work to do. #badparents
