Hey Everyone,
Less than a week to go until we celebrate all you fantastic Moms out there! Which of these Mom types best describes you?
The Foodie Mommy…
You are the one your friends trust to pick the restaurant for girls night, and your kitchen is the prettiest room in your house. You are a fantastic entertainer, you make it look easy to whip up dinner for 12 on a moment’s notice. And somehow you get your kids to eat that Quinoa and Kale too, how do you do it?
The Classic Mommy…
Your clothes are always pressed, your skin is glowing, and your hair is rarely out of place, even when it’s in one of those cute top knots after the gym it looks darling. Gwyneth Paltrow is your style icon, and your kids have excellent manners too. Please ladies, tell me how you do it!
The Bohemian Mommy…
You like loose flowing tops, live in flip flops year round, and your hair is a bit on the wild side. Your house is full of imperfect but charming bits and pieces that you’ve collected over the years at flea markets on your travels. Your kids live a bit on the wild side too, and that’s ok with you. I’m not going to lie to you, this is me, especially the messy hair and children part.
The Thirsty Mommy…
Sometimes you need a drink after a looooong day, am I right ladies? You’ve got a beautiful little bar cart in your living room and can throw a cocktail party together at the drop of a hat. Your S’well bottle is used for Sauvignon Blanc, not water. (This might also be me, minus the bar cart, but I’ll get there one day)
The Beachy Mommy…
Gosh, isn’t this just so pretty? You’ve always got the best mineral based sunscreen and a lightweight turkish towel in your bag, because there’s a good chance you’ll end up at the beach watching your kids surf/volleyball tournament. That’s your happy place, and theirs too.
Whatever kind of mommy you are, I hope you have a wonderful week. You’re doing great, you don’t have to be perfect, nobody else is… Just do your best and your family will surely love you for it. (At least that’s what I tell myself, and I hope it’s true:)
Happy Mother’s Day.
